I have a BA in Communication Studies from CA State University, Chico and worked in the Insurance and Risk Management industry for years, before deciding I was getting burnt out of the corporate business world and needed a change. I decided I wanted a career in healthcare, and pursued the holistic medicine route, as it had been so helpful to me after a serious car accident in 2005. I earned my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture in 2015 from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. I passed my medical boards in April 2016 and thereafter became a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc). I opened my practice, as a sole proprietor, in June 2016 in San Diego.
